Stafford County Planning & Zoning Changes to Operations

Please see the letter below from Stafford County Planning and Zoning regarding changes to their operations.

Development Professionals:

Stafford County remains committed to providing you with continued customer service during this trying time with the COVID-19 Virus. We have recently received feedback asking for more flexibility with acceptance of paper documents, especially for plans that started the review process with paper and signature sets of plans and plat documents. Trying to balance that with the goal of minimizing the number of staff in our government buildings, we will be adding an extra day for plan drop-offs. Starting next week we will be accepting drop-offs on Monday and Wednesday mornings between the hours of 8:00AM and 10:00AM by appointment. Please contact Miranda Critzer Mcritzer@staffordcountyva.gov to make an appointment. Please note that plans submitted by e-plans or PDF format can be routed to reviewers more quickly than paper documents. Please contact Miranda for details regarding E-plans and PDF submittals.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. Please pass this message along to co-workers and other development professionals that you work with. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact us.

CLARIFICATION ON ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF EPLAN SUBMISSION

Attached below are some useful documents to help clarify any questions:

If you are looking to submit a second submission to a plan that has already been through a review cycle with us or you are looking to submit something that we do not currently accept through eplans you can send the files via pdf to Miranda M. Critzer MCritzer@staffordcountyva.gov
