N95 Mask Collection for Local Heath Care Providers

FABA community –

As you know, there is a critical shortage of the masks worn by heath care providers across the country.

Our local hospitals also facing this shortage.

The N95 masks, that our healthcare workers need (who are fighting this virus on the front lines) are relatively common in the building industry. Due to the current situation, these masks cannot be produced fast enough to outfit and protect our doctors and nurses.

SUPPLIERS: PLEASE CHECK YOUR STOCK/INVENTORY FOR N95 MASKS.

If you are able to donate these masks, FABA will collect them. – drop off bin here at the FABA office – or we will gladly pick up asap. 540-898-2730 Maria

We have offers from financial donors who will purchase what you have in inventory if you are not able to donate these PPE devices.

If you have any unused N95 Mask and would be willing to donate them for our local healthcare providers, FABA will collect these masks and deliver them to our local hospitals.

Please note,

An N95 respirator is a respiratory protective device designed to achieve a very close facial fit and very efficient filtration of airborne particles.

The ‘N95’ designation means that when subjected to careful testing, the respirator blocks at least 95 percent of very small (0.3 micron) test particles. If properly fitted, the filtration capabilities of N95 respirators exceed those of face masks. However, even a properly fitted N95 respirator does not completely eliminate the risk of illness or death.

The Fredericksburg Area Builders Association (FABA), chartered in 1968 and incorporated in 1980 has hundreds of members both builders and associates. These members represent thousands of people whose livelihoods are directly tied to the building and building-related industries.
